Who We Are

The word Copt is derived from the Greek word aigyptos, which means Egyptian. The modern use of the term Coptic describes Egyptian Christians. The Coptic Church however, has been expanding and reaching out to the whole world, stretching from the United States to Australia and New Zeland. The Coptic Orthodox Church has kept the creed, the doctrines and the practices of the Church of the first four centuries without any change. As Copts we believe in spreading this great gift that has not changed from the creation of the Church by instruction of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
